Σπηλιά της Συκιάς (Sykia Cave)
We were told you “can’t”. Well we did anyway. We kept being told the only way to get to Σπηλιά της Συκιάς (Sykia Cave) was by commercial or tourist boat, you can’t navigate your way over land. After a little preparation and a 2 hour scramble through the rocky west outcrop of the island we were able to find and climb down into the cave. We couldn’t believe that we were lucky enough to enjoy the unique cave to ourselves all day. We definitely made the most of it
